Independent developers

One person, one game, and a link is a complete submission.

Most of the games on this site were built by a small team with no engine and no budget for one. There is no publisher-sized submission process here, because there is no publisher-sized team here.

No fee, ever

Being considered costs nothing. We do not charge for review, and we do not ask for a share of anything before a game is accepted.

No exclusivity

Publish your game wherever else you like. Non-exclusive is the default here, not something you have to negotiate.

Your name stays on it

The developer credit is part of the listing. It is not removed to make the catalogue look like ours.

What we test

Four things, every time.

  • Does it start without waiting, on a phone, over a connection that is not fast?
  • Can a new player work out what to do without reading anything?
  • Does it still behave when the screen is small and the thumb is large?
  • Does it keep working with the network switched off?

If a game fails one of these we say which, and we say it in plain words. A rejection that does not explain itself wastes your time and ours.

How submission works

You do not need a company

An individual developer can publish here. There is no minimum team size, no requirement for a registered business, and no expectation that a game already has players. What matters is the game.

What we do not require

No engine, no particular framework, no build pipeline and no particular code style. A single HTML file written by hand is exactly what most of this catalogue is. If your game is built with a tool that exports a playable web build, that is fine too — it just has to arrive as something we can host and read.

Being turned down

Most submissions are turned down, and the usual reasons are not about quality: the game needs a mouse, it needs a server, it takes too long to explain, or it is simply a genre we already carry in numbers. None of those is a judgement of the work, and all of them are fixable in the next game.

Send it before you think it is ready

A playable link and one sentence about the game is enough. If it is close, we will tell you what is missing.
