About iptsi Flood
iptsi Flood is a colour puzzle on a twelve-by-twelve board. Your territory starts as the single top-left square. Choosing a colour repaints your entire connected region and claims every neighbouring square of that colour, so the region grows outward โ but only if you choose a colour that actually touches it. You have a fixed number of moves to cover the whole board.
Nothing is hidden and nothing is random during play, which makes it the purest planning game here. Every move is a decision you could have reasoned about in advance, and the failure mode is always the same: spending moves on colours that expand the region in one direction while a large pocket of a neglected colour sits unreachable on the far side.
How to play
- Tap one of the six colour swatches under the board.
- Your connected region takes that colour and absorbs every adjacent square already in it.
- Choosing the colour your region already has does nothing and is not allowed.
- Cover every square to win; run out of moves first and the run ends.
How it was built
The flood is a simple stack-based fill from the top-left corner, and the board is drawn as a grid of rounded squares on one canvas. There are no images, no loaded audio and no dependencies, so the game is a single HTML file that works offline and inside a sandboxed host such as YouTube Playables.
The win check counts the region rather than trusting a flag, and it is run after every move, so a board that is one square short is never reported as finished. The score is simply how much of the board is yours when the moves run out, which makes partial progress visible rather than binary.
Why it is free
iptsi builds these titles in-house and owns them outright, so nothing here is licensed from anyone else. They are here to be played, and to show the kind of game that suits the open web: instant, offline, and legible on a small screen. There is no account, no download and no advertising on this page, and your best score is kept in your own browser.
