About iptsi Escape
iptsi Escape is a dodging game with a single idea: obstacles fall from the top of the screen, and you move sideways to avoid them. Every block that reaches the floor without touching you is worth a point. The blocks arrive faster and more often as the score climbs, so the gap you are aiming for keeps getting smaller.
It is the most direct of the action games here. There is no aiming, no timing window and no remembering: you read the position of what is falling and move. What makes it difficult over time is not the speed of any single block but the number of them on screen at once, because two blocks can close a lane from both sides.
How to play
- Drag left and right, or use the โ and โ arrow keys, to move.
- Every block that lands safely scores a point.
- Blocks spawn closer together and fall faster as your score rises.
- Touching a block costs a life, and three collisions ends the run.
How it was built
The blocks, the runner and the particles are drawn at runtime on one canvas, and the sound is synthesised with the Web Audio API. There are no image files and no audio files, so the whole game is a single HTML file that loads instantly and runs inside a sandboxed host such as YouTube Playables without a single network request.
The spawn timing is the part that needed care. Rather than speeding blocks up without limit, the game keeps a floor on the interval between spawns and lifts the fall speed instead, because an interval that approaches zero stops being a game and becomes a coin toss.
Why it is free
iptsi builds these games in-house and owns them outright, so nothing here is licensed or resold. They are here to be played, and to show the kind of title that suits the open web: instant, offline, and legible on a small screen. No account, no download, and no advertising on this page โ your best score stays in your own browser.
